Hello Cecelia
I just wanted to touch base and let you know how amazingly well Lola is doing! She is everything we ever wanted in a Newfoundland and more. We have never owned a dog who was so bonded to her family. Although she is definitely attached to me the most she absolutely adores our children. Each morning I say to her “lets go wake up the kids”, she gets so excited and goes and wakes them up individually by kissing them on the face and leaning in for a hug. Her favourite sound is the school bus and when all the kids come home! She is very protective of me and the kids and is definitely the pool life guard! She has never gone in the pool but sits and watches and lets them know when she thinks its all getting a bit too rough for her liking! She is a very affectionate dog and loves to give hugs. She is physically gorgeous and incredibly healthy. She is incredibly intelligent and was so easily trained to the point half way thru my puppy training I was moved to a higher level class. Lola is a very very calm dog and people are often shocked when they find out she is only 9 months old. She walks right beside us on leash and does not pull. She walks on leash like a very mature older dog. We do get asked often if she is a bear! When she is on a walk and a little child asks to pet her she instinctively lies down without being told so the child can pet her with ease and won’t be intimidating. We check out your website often and were excited to see Lola has siblings! The people purchasing those pups are very lucky and will have wonderful, loving, smart, caring, and all around perfect Newfies. All of your dogs are amazing but we have a special place in our heart for Scarlett and Injin. Anyways, we just wanted to check in and let you know how adored Lola is and what a wonderful dog she grew to be. All the best, Amy Fitzgerald |
